Aches

It may be an old wives tale.  Tales of aches and pains linked to the weather.  Truth or fiction.  For me, today, I will do the blame game and pin it on the weather.

The world does not stand still because of maladies.  I intended on finishing the lap robe that was sitting under the sewing machine needle.  Once around the perimeter and the binding was done.  I folded the project after I had given it a good shake to take off any wayward threads.   Another day, I will do a grease, oil and needle change.

I do have a project waiting in the wings for when the sewing machine has been tidied up.  A while back, I had pulled fabrics that were in harmony and cut them into 2.5″ strips.  A log cabin quilt top is in the waiting.  No hurry, no rush.  It will be busy work.

The hand stitching is always on the go.  It might be sewing a length of floss or it may be more than that.  Again, busy work to let the body know I need to keep it moving.  I have not had a book started for some time.  Several selections are lined up on my window sill.  Eeenie, meenie, miney moe.

There are still grain truck hauling corn in.  Depending how many acres need to be harvested, the gray wet weather might not be a concern.

With that I will take my leave.  ♥
