A Sunday
By all accounts it is a super Sunday. The sun is out and the snowbanks are melting. It is the rights of snowbanks to become mud puddles.
The studio and I got along fine this morning. I hop from three different projects that are on the church tables. A little bit on each one of the three and it doesn’t feel overwhelming. What got me towards the end was that my fingers felt chilly. Better them than my nose. Everything shut down, lights off and up to the main floor for hot coffee.
Our main objective today was to try out the brand new carwash/laundry on the south edge of town. Dennis had never tried it and asked if I would ride with. Three “must haves” that we did not have: Dennis’ glasses, a telephone and a clean cloth. There were so many options that came up on the screen as we pulled forward that it threw a curve. The button indicating that we had a gift card got pushed. All systems locked down. I got out of the car and walked back to the car behind us waiting and asked for help. By the grace of the young woman waiting behind us, we did get our car washed. A telephone is needed if there is a problem, the big red sign read “Phone for Help.” A clean cloth is needed due to the fact that the screen allowing for options does fog over in this type of a winter day. A little humble pie doesn’t hurt anyone.
The car is very clean. We are going to continue using this carwash until it becomes usual and customary.
With that I will take my leave. ♥
