Today was a day of taking care of treasures from past and present that need to be labeled and stored for future use. Amazingly the day went fast. It was the first morning out of the last nine that I could get out of bed and stand upright immediately. I did say a prayer of thanks – yup prayers are answered. I kept my appointment at the chiropractor this forenoon and will take the one on Monday as well just to make sure the situation has found a solution and an end. Am I ready to loose an hour of sleep this weekend? It seems as the time change comes and goes and it doesn’t impact me like it does some.

Dennis had a meeting in Mankato and of course it was a great time to run some errands. Spring must be coming closer as the traffic showed signs much like calves that were finally let out of the barn after a long winter: crazy with speed and letting everyone know their car horns work. Grammies are not intimidated.

It is time for some maintenance in regard to getting a haircut. The white has turned to a head of fuzz and it has a mind of it’s own.

What a great day! Fresh air with temps warm enough to thaw the last of the snow after we had it cleared.

Today was a day to clean up my annex, aka: my sewing area. Items get pulled out for projects and never quite find their way back. I promised Dennis I would not start anything new until the annex has had some organization. It does challenge the situation when some newly acquired items need to be fit into the mix.

Up with the birds this morning. It’s a good thing I did schedule a follow up with my favorite friend Kurt at St. James Chiropractic as the junk in the trunk wants to remain settled in and tight. Stretches and reaches and we are putting that particular issue on hold and getting on to enjoy a great day.

It’s amazing how many people can be fed from one huge batch of Chili. Dennis deemed it a great batch as he enjoyed his supper. Several containers were sent out to the farm to Dennis’ son and a container went to grandson Ryan here in town and two containers are in the freezer for the next trip north to Fairfax.

It sure is humbling when you need to reach for the phone book and seek out a chiropractor’s number. It’s not classy to walk stooped over due to a lower back ache – oh all right – it was the left flank that was causing the issues. After 20 minutes of Kurt working his magic I feel 99.99% better. I think the earlier week of spending most of the time sitting attributed to the problem. But now – game on!

I was out of town on Tuesday the 26th, and it was a full day of mileage, visiting and keeping up with family. As great as the day was there is only so much yakking and “remember when” that can be fit in and it is then time to head home. Today was bill sort day as the first of the month is close. I try to do as much on line as possible as I hate having to buy stamps.
