It may not be a Sunday but this is a close second for “This is the day the Lord has made.” Dennis and I made a day out of a road trip/road date. I was excited to see the projects I had taken to Michael’s for framing. Though I had picked out the mat colors and frames it was still exciting to see it all pulled together. In years past when I had items framed I picked out a pencil thin frame and wham-bam it was deemed done. Today I am working with the framers and allowing them to work with me that allows the full impact of the project. In years to come — the thought process may be all together different again — but these results will go down in history as “my choices.” After Michael’s we did a bit of grocery shopping and headed off for a lunch date with some special people. That sealed the day as one spectacular road trip/road date. Along the miles I got to see deer, some wild turkeys and a pair of little red birds. The sun is still out at 6:27 p.m. and it’s time to shut the bathroom window that allowed some fresh air into the house.
