Saturday the 3rd of October
A great way to start the month: haircuts and pedicures. What is hard to fathom is seeing that the next card from Maria states November 7th.
The air is chilly today with winds having their way with leaves that are way too egger to leave the trees. The lilac bush on the northwest corner of the house had to give a surprise by popping out a beautiful sprig of a bloom. It looks forlorn as no longer are there any leaves left on the bush.
At a few minutes after three this afternoon, I will need to get Dennis out of the house and up to the VFW here in town. His family is planning a surprise birthday party for him. My part is to get him there. It’s a good thing he decided to take a nap after we came home from our spa date.
Naps for fellows such as Dennis are good for his soul. He has worked hard all of his life and still believes he is a person in his 20s and 30s, thus we have a good supply of items for me to clean him up and stop the bleeding. He needs to be able to try and participate in activities of his younger being, perhaps those of his 60s and 70s would be safer.
